Q) Do you offer discounts for direct bookings?

A) We absolutely offer discounts for direct bookings! If you contact us on 01803 295028 or enquiries@thebelmonttorquay.co.uk we will offer you a discounted rate on what you will see on third party websites. 

Q) Do you have parking available?

A) We have 2 parking spaces to the rear of the property that are available on request on a first come, first serve basis. Alternatively there is free parking available on most of the roads that branch off Belgrave Road. We send parking options to every guest in the week leading up to their booking.

Q) How far are you from the beach?

A) Torre Abbey Sands is approximately 300 yards away from the B&B, at the bottom of the hill. 

Q) Are you dog-friendly?

A) We are very dog-friendly! We welcome all pooches and offer beds/bowls and have plenty of things in the reception, including treats.

Q) Where is the nearest place to walk the dog? 

A) Torre Abbey is approximately 300 yards down Falkand Road, this leads to Abbey Meadow where there is plenty of space for your dog to run around.

Q) How far away is the nearest restaurant?

A) The Bull & Bush pub is across the road, Bombay Express (fantastic Indian style) is about 100 yards up the road. There are more down near the beach and further along the harbour or into the town.

Q) How far away are the shops?

A) Approximately 10 minute walk.

Q) Where is the nearest Newsagent/Convenience Store?

A) About 1 minute walk up the road.

Q) Where can we get good Fish & Chips?

A) Cobley's is 1 minute walk up the road.

Q) How do I get a taxi?

A) Uber doesn't work very well in Torquay. We suggest using the local Taxi companies. Across the road is Torbay Taxis - 01803 611211.

Q) Do you welcome children?

A) We absolutely welcome well behaved children and can provide travel cots, highchairs & z-beds where necessary. Please let us know on booking if there are children in the party.

Q) Are you dog-friendly?

A) We are very dog-friendly! We welcome all pooches and offer beds/bowls and have plenty of things in the reception, including treats.

Q) Do you cater for dietary requirements?

A) We cater for as many dietary requirements as we can, including dairy free butter and milk and available for the rooms. Please let us know prior to arrival if you have a requirement.

Q) Do you have place to store a bicycle?

A) We have a decking the bikes can be locked to out the back of the building but not anywhere undercover.

Q) Do you do contactless check in?

A) We offer two options for check in: In person check in is between 3-5pm & contactless check in is available 3-10pm. We will text you instructions on the day, but if you would like one of us to be there to welcome you, please let us know in advance. 

Q) Do you have free WiFi?

A) We do have free WiFi, the log in details are in the information book in the room.

Q) Do you service the rooms?

A) We allow each guest to let us know what they would like. There is a service card in each room, which we ask you to fill in, letting us know what you would like us to do each morning. 

Q) Do you offer room only or just bed and breakfast?

A) We off both options, with the room only option reflecting a price difference.

Q) Do you have a lift?

A) Due to health & safety, and the age of the building we are unable to have a lift installed. Please note this means that the rooms are only accessible by stairs, therefore, the higher floors may be less suitable for those with mobility issues. 

Q) Do you have any rooms on the ground floor?

A) Our accommodation is on the 1st-3rd floors so unfortunately we don't have any rooms on the ground floor, so it won't be suitable for wheelchair access.
